About
The short version.
I started out in aviation, then moved into software engineering about thirteen years ago. Most of that time has been with digital agencies and startups — small teams, real deadlines, and usually a product still working out what it wants to be.
The work itself is full-stack: interfaces, the services behind them, and the cloud infrastructure they run on. I spent two years teaching full-stack JavaScript somewhere in the middle, which is still the best thing I’ve done for the way I review other people’s code.
